2022 Men Of The Green Machine – Evan Price

Please welcome Evan Price to the 2022 Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps!

Evan is a Tenor (quad) player from Dripping Springs, Texas. He first became interested in DCI when his high school percussion director told him about his experiences marching with the Cadets. While in high school, he also performed with the Starlight Symphony Orchestra and was the youngest member.

Evan is a rising senior at Tulane University in New Orleans where he is completing double majors in Mathematics and Philosphy and has made the Dean’s List all six semesters. He is also a member of the Tulane University Marching Band, playing both tenors and snare. He recently traveled to Dubai for the World Expo to represent the United States and perform in the U.S. Pavilion. He even got to ride a camel while he was there! (But he wasn’t allowed to play drums ON the camel, much to his disappointment.)

Evan also enjoys skiing, traveling, spending time with friends, marching in Mardi Gras parades and explaining why things like Vector Calculus and Differential Equations are necessary in the world (his family is still skeptical). He speaks German, plays a mean game of chess and is left handed!

Evan hopes to attend Columbia Law School after graduation. He will debate a topic until his opponent gives up from exhaustion, so this is an excellent career choice for him.

Evan toured with the Crossmen last summer and is very excited and honored to spend his age out season with the Cavaliers!

Welcome, Evan!
