Say hello to returning veteran, Ian Callard! Ian is a 3rd year member of the Cavaliers Color Guard!
When he was nine, Ian told his parents he was going to march as a Cavalier. Growing up with a dad who is a guard instructor, he grew up in the activity, literally. At every Allentown or Buffalo show we would find the rehearsal sites and watch. He would then watch YouTube clips to learn work.
Prior to his years with the Cavaliers, he marched for two seasons at Colts. He was the 2020 I&E champion. Having graduated from high school in 2020, he is currently a member of the University of North Texas Green Machine marching band and marched Origins World Guard this past winter season.
Outside of spinning Ian is a Music Composition major at UNT Denton. He is an upright bass player! If there is ever time, ask him to do one of his card tricks that he’s mastered. He even did one to ask his girlfriend to go steady with him. She’s at Blue Stars this summer.
