Please welcome back Brian Alston to the 2022 Cavaliers. He is a 2nd year Mellophone.
Brian learned about DCI in high school and talked only of auditioning for Cavaliers from the get-go. His first year marching was 2021, and he absolutely loved it. He is very much looking forward to marching a full season this year. For those that remember the opening Quartet in “Live From The Rose”, Brian starred in one of the Tenor roles.
Outside of drum corps, he is a college sophomore majoring in music education. He started playing orchestral strings in the 4th grade and participated in the strings program throughout high school. In 2018, he went to Peru and played with the Cusco Youth Symphony Orchestra. While there, he also visited Machu Picchu (photo).
