Hello Parents…Many of you have responded to the idea of “Ageout Profiles” on this blog as we lead into the season. I think it will help all of us who volunteer this year get to know at least a few more of the guys before the season even starts! IF you want me to publish a 2020 Ageout Profile for your son, I’ll need a little help…While I don’t want them to all look cookie-cutter…below is the information that I think would be a good core start to highlighting how awesome your young man is.

Today’s 2020 Ageout Profile recognizes (Name of Member). (Name of Member) performs in the ( Section ) and has been with the Cavaliers for (number of seasons). We interviewed (Name of Member)’s family to learn a little more about him as the 2020 tour begins!

Ice-breaker questions…answer any or all!
1. How did (Name of Member) become interested in the Cavaliers?
2. Has (Name of Member) marched with other Drum Corps ( any corps…DCI, DCA, etc. )
3. What is (Name of Member)’s favorite Cavaliers production…ones he’s marched in, and all-time!
4. What other hobbies does (Name of Member) enjoy besides Drum Corps?
5. Where does (Name of Member) currently go to school?
6. Do you think (Name of Member) will continue to be involved in Drum Corps in some way after he ages out?
7. Has (Name of Member) related any of his favorite moments on tour?
8. As the parent/family member of (Name of Member), how do you feel his time with the Cavaliers has affected his outlook on life?

If you would email me a Word Document that is somewhat conveying the information in this format ( along with the pictures you decide to use), I’ll transfer it all to the “Rolling With the Cavies” blog. Yeah, I know some of the guys hate “Cavies”….but the URL is what it is at this point. 🙂
